AMARONE CLASSICO 'ACINATICO' ACCORDINI 2019 DESCRIPTION

Amarone Classico "Acinatico" produced by Stefano Accordini is an excellence in Veneto, a wine of great personality and character, full-bodied and intense. Accordini paints us his portrait of Amarone, full of complexity and precision, with manic attention to detail. Indeed, the Accordini winery is as small as it is high in quality. Located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region, more precisely in Pedemonte in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, it brings back the distinctive features of a territory, a wine, a tradition and a history, expressing them through its range of bottles. Attention to every detail, from the field to the bottling, passing through everything that takes place in the cellar: this is Accordini family's imperative and the secret to obtaining a high-quality product.

"Acinatico" is an Amarone Classico della Valpolicella that comes from the best selection of 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 5% Molinara grapes from the Bessole and Cavalo areas. Manual harvesting is followed by a  120-day drying of the grapes, in the fruttaio. Vinification takes place in steel, while maturation takes place first in barriques, where it rests for two years, and then in bottles for another 24 months.

The Amarone Accordini "Acinatico" presents all its complexity and density already at the sight, through that dark and impenetrable ruby red color. It moves in the glass with consistency, hinting at a richness not only in structure but also in the aromatic bouquet. It in fact opens to hints of dried roses, cherry liqueur, leather, spices, on a balsamic background perfectly integrated with a mineral imprint that enlivens this harmonious interweaving of scents. On the palate it persuades with its full and velvety body, wrapped in soft, well-sculpted tannins and marked by a pronounced freshness that makes the sip extremely drinkable. It closes with a persistent and pleasant aromatic finish. A bottle that captivates and convinces, that comforts and makes one fall in love.
