The luxury brand Armand de Brignac was born from the long experience of the Cattier family, winemakers and producers of Champagne for 13 generations. The goal of Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son Alexandre was to create the best cuvée ever, reaching the pinnacle of quality. This giddy ambition thus gave rise, with the release of the Gold label in 2006, to the prestigious Armand de Brignac Champagne range, recently acquired by stars Jay-Z and Beyoncé but still produced by Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier.

The name Armand de Brignac, which has become synonymous in recent years with luxury, prestige, and wealth, began as a tribute to family tradition and, in particular, to the labels produced in the 1950s by Nelly Cattier, Jean-Jacques's mother, who read this name in a novel and, struck by the noble and high-sounding aura that it inspires, decided to create and register the brand. Today, the bottles that still bear this name come from a rigorous selection of grapes and virtuous production methods that the Cattier family has perfected over 250 years of experience. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes come from only Grand and Premier Cru, grown with great care and attention to environmental sustainability. The fruit of three different vintages is blended in the cellars each year, after skillful aging in French oak barrels, with subsequent re-fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method. Aging "sur lattes" takes place slowly in deep underground cellars dug into the chalk, owned by the family. The final dosage bears the signature and character of the Maison and is made from a selection of reserve wines matured on fine lees for about a year in new French oak barrels.

Armand de Brignac Champagne is the fruit of the centuries-long tradition and rigorous craftsmanship of the Cattier family, intent on producing the best and most luxurious expressions of the region with these labels. These bottles have only been produced for a few years but have already established themselves as an international benchmark, a glorious gold-plated epitome of a centuries-old tradition and an extraordinary territory.
