PINOT NERO ANDRIANO 2023 DESCRIPTION

Andrian Pinot Noir is one of the many offspring of a winery whose working philosophy is to pay the utmost attention to even the smallest detail, from the vineyard to the cellar. On soils with a lime-clay texture and a Mediterranean climate, the Pinot Noir grapes grow at an altitude of approximately 500 metres above sea level. An ideal location that allows perfect development of the fruit ready to give pure joy in the glass.

With this Pinot Noir, the Andrian winery begins its history at the beginning of the harvest, which takes place later than the white grapes on the estate and exclusively by hand in order to maintain the high quality of the fruit from which the base wines are made. Subsequently, once the work has passed into the cellar, a traditional red vinification is carried out inside stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature that does not exceed 30°C. At the end of this phase, accurate pumping over is carried out while awaiting maturation and malolactic fermentation carried out inside large wooden barrels.

Pinot Noir Andriano colours the glass with a rich ruby red that anticipates the abundance of aromas that flow through the nose: blackcurrants and blackberries dominate, followed by light spicy and toasty hints due to the use of wood during processing in the cellar. On the palate, one is enraptured by the refinement and elegance of this Pinot Noir, which is truly capable of making the mouth feel silky smooth thanks also to the delicate contribution of the soft tannins. This wine from Alto Adige's first social wine cellar is an outstanding example of how commitment, passion and attention to detail can produce true oenological gems and, if you also look at the price, become bargains not to be missed.
