The myth of the Gin is traced in this tasting box on the path of history. In 1600 the Jenever, the ancestor of this spirit was born in Holland, here interpreted by De Borgen in a spirit of tradition that comes from malt distillates aged for 17 years with the contact of the botanicals that make up the recipe of the house. The art of blending is the basis of this excellent Dutch expression. Following a royal act on alcoholic taxation by the English sovereign in the eighteenth century, the Gin trade suffered a setback which was a direct consequence of the increase in clandestine production. A period of prohibition that is reinterpreted by the Compounds, a genre to which the Gin 'À la Madame' is redone, a bottle in which the aromatic aromas predominate and the fludo is ideal in mixology for softness and elegance. The tradition of Italian distillation through six protagonists of the category, four white Grappas and two 'Stravecchie', to appreciate the characteristics of this 'tricolor' spirit. The long tradition of Friulian distilleries is summed up by the labels of Nonino, Poli, with the first of the Grappe aged in wooden barrels for a couple of months, and Capovilla, one of the undisputed master craftsmen of the panorama.
