Domaine George Noëllat is located in Vosne-Romanée, a few kilometers north of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the world's most vocated area for producing Pinot Noir. Maxim Cheurlin, grandson of Marie-Thérèse Noëllat, took the helm of the family estate in 2010. It is a historic domaine in the area, run by a family that has been cultivating vines in the Côte de Nuits for no less than five generations. Vosne-Romanée has always represented a symbol of excellence. Within its communal territory there are 6 Climat classified Grand Cru: Romanée-Conti, Romanée Saint-Vivant, La Romanée, La Tâche, La Grande Rue, Richebourg and in the neighboring commune of Flagey-Échezeaux there are Grand Cru: Échezeaux and Grands-Échezeaux. Also on its territory are the Premier Cru: Les Beaux Monts, Les Suchots, Aux Brûlées, La Croix Rameau, Clos des Réas, Les Gaudichots, Les Chaumes, Aux Malconsorts, Au-dessus des Malconsorts, Cros Parentoux, Aux Reignots, Les Petits Monts. A concentration of parcels of the highest quality, difficult to find elsewhere in Burgundy.

The estate is located right along the famous Route des Grands Crus, characterized by a splendid east-facing exposure and limestone and limestone-clay soils. Domaine George Noëllat covers a total area of 27 hectares, ranging from Marsannay-la-Côte to Pommard, and is divided into a hundred or so small parcels, located in no fewer than 22 different Appellations. A veritable mosaic of vineyards, which makes it possible to offer a wide range of labels, capable of faithfully interpreting the smallest nuances of an extremely multifaceted territory.

The vineyards are managed with full respect for the land, using agricultural practices with low environmental impact, so as to keep the ecosystem intact. The density of the plantings and strict thinnings bring few bunches per plant to maturity, prioritizing the search for maximum quality. Winemaking is carried out in a simple and traditional way, with cellar practices always respectful of the raw material. As is customary in the area, ageing takes place using only French oak barrels, with a percentage of new wood that can vary from 30% to 100%, depending on the cuvée and the characteristics of the vintage.
