Weingut Reinhardt

Weingut Reinhardt's Riesling Trocken Lagenwein Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker is a white wine produced in the Palatinate region of Germany, near the Haardt Mountains. This favourable location affords the grapes considerable protection from extreme heat, making them juicy and lively. This Riesling, perfect for uncorking during a barbecue, whether of meat or fish, is fresh and assertive, with notes of tropical fruit, earthy aromas and hints of minerality

RIESLING TROCKEN LAGENWEIN DEIDESHEIMER HERRGOTTSACKER WEINGUT REINHARDT 2021 DESCRIPTION

Weingut Reinhardt's Riesling Trocken Lagenwein Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker is a white wine from Germany with crystal-clear purity, characterised by earthy mineral hints typical of the specific sub-zone in which this label originates. Indeed, the term 'Lagenwein' identifies those wines produced from grapes from a single vineyard with superior quality characteristics. In this case, it is the Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker plot in the Deidesheim area, at the foot of the Haardt mountains, whose presence acts as a natural barrier against climatic extremes, such as excessive heat and copious rainfall.

The Lagenwein Riesling Trocken Weingut Reinhardt Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker originates from pure Rhine Riesling grapes grown at the foot of the Haardt Mountains following the dictates of organic farming, certified since 2020. Harvesting is done by hand when the grapes have reached the right stage of ripeness and is followed by soft pressing and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks. In the same type of wine vats, the maturation phase of approximately 12 months takes place before the final bottling.

To the eye, the Riesling Trocken Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker Lagenwein from the German producer Weingut Reinhardt reveals an intense straw yellow colour. The aromatic bouquet is composed of seductive, ample aromas of strawberry-apple, lime, pineapple, passion fruit and hawthorn, accompanied by distinctive earthy mineral notes and delicate vegetal memories. The progression on the palate is dry and decisive, with brilliant freshness giving thrust and tension to the long persistent finish, in which the exotic fruit perceptions perceived on the nose reappear.
