The Bramaterra by Tenute Sella is a full-bodied and intense red wine, matured for 28 months in barrel. The broad and mineral scents of flowers and red fruit invite a tasting with a soft and powerful taste with a pleasantly savory finish

The Bramaterra branded Tenute Sella is a wine with ancient origins. In fact, there are traces of its existence as far back as 1447, and we are therefore faced with a type that boasts a centuries-old history. This version presented by Tenute Sella is born from a blend of Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Croatina, grapes selected with extreme care from the plots of Villa del Bosco and Brusnengo, leading to a full and round sip, where the mineral notes represent the defining element on the nose and palate. A bottle that can easily evolve further over the next 10 years.

This Bramaterra is made by Tenute Sella by combining two little-known red grape varieties, Vespolina and Croatina, with Nebbiolo. The vines of these three varieties are about 50 years old and grow in a terroir made up of volcanic origin porphyry sands, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. The grapes, after being hand-harvested, ferment in steel containers, macerating for up to a maximum of 30 days. The refinement process then follows, during which the wine rests in Slavonian oak barrels for 28 months, until bottling and marketing operations begin.

The Tenute Sella Bramaterra presents itself in the glass with a color reminiscent of garnet. The olfactory spectrum is layered and moves through a progression of mineral, fruity, spicy, and floral notes. On the palate, it is of excellent structure, with a captivating sip, harmonious in expressing soft and well-crafted tannins; it finishes with a finale characterized by a savory aftertaste, endowed with good persistence. A label of character and personality, with which Tenute Sella confirms itself as one of the most valid production realities in Biella.
