Morgon

The Morgon Classique by Jean Foillard is a French red wine made from Gamay grapes from the homonymous village located in the Beaujolais, vinified through a cold semi-carbonic maceration and aged for a short time in oak barrels. It expresses territoriality and elegance through scents of ripe red fruit, cherries and kirsch, together with earthy, spicy and mineral notes: the mouthfeel is ample, bright, full and flowing, with a fine tannic structure and tireless, juicy drinkability.

Morgon "Les Roches" of the French winery Chateau Chatelard is a pure Gamay, tasty and smooth, perfect to accompany meat and mushroom dinners. The grapes used to make it are harvested by hand from 55 year old plants on rocky soils, while it is aged in wood for 6-12 months. The colour is ruby red with garnet highlights while the aromas released are reminiscent of cherry and flowers. The taste is soft, juicy, fruity and with good persistence

Morgon by Marcel Lapierre is a red from Gamay grapes that tells a personal and compelling story of the Beaujolais area. Vinified in steel with the traditional semi-carbonic maceration, it is aged in used barrels to give itself to the nose with rich and delicate aromas of violet, licorice and cherry pulp. In the mouth it is taut and full, of deep freshness, taste finesse and ripe tannin.

The Morgon "Cote du Py" by Jean Foillard is an elegant and fine French red wine based on Gamay grapes, coming from the coasts of Py, an extinct volcano considered one of the most suited crus of the region.
