Tenuta di Tavignano was born in the early nineties and is situated in a magnificent castle in Cingoli, geographically in the province of Macerata and culturally in the most classic area of the Castelli di Jesi. The management of the estate and its wine production is in the hand of a couple, Beatrice Lucangeli and Stefano Aymerich Laconi, belonging to families of ancient nobility and having made the age-old practice of agriculture a strong symbol of quality. The property covers 250 hectares and is located in an area that is called "Balcony of the Marches", a spectacular terrace that opens in front of a beautiful landscape. The vines are all native and the green shades grapes enjoy the temperate microclimate of the gentle hillsides, with the warm breeze from the sea and the more rigid and dry mountain air. In particular, the vineyards of Verdicchio look to the neighboring Monte San Vicino, enjoying optimal exposure for ripening. "Misco" stands out in the collection, a wine with the Latin name of the closed Musone river, which flows to the downstream of tracks along Esino. Enriched by the culture of Castelli di Jesi, year after year the Verdicchio of Tenuta di Tavignano opens itself in magnificent and elegant tones, which are the symbol of a unique terroir.
