Cuvée Brut 'Dr Brendan O'Regan' from the Pierre Sugrue winery is a fine and elegant English sparkling wine perfect for celebrating a special occasion. It is made from a blend of carefully selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and matured on the lees for over 55 months. The straw yellow colour with golden highlights introduces a fine, persistent perlage while aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and bread crust intoxicate the nose. The palate is creamy, harmonious, enveloping, rich and majestically persistent

The Cuvée Brut 'Dr Brendan O'Regan' by Pierre Sugrue is produced in England, specifically in Pulborough, Sussex. After a training period in Bordeaux where he learned grape processing and winemaking techniques, Pierre returned to England where he had the opportunity to work closely with the team at Nyetimber, one of the most refined producers of English sparkling wine. With the right experience, Sugrue has managed over time to produce quality wines, and today he is responsible for the production of about 15 English sparkling wines.

The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of the Cuvée Brut 'Dr Brendan O'Regan' by Pierre Sugrue mostly come from vines located on the grounds of an ancient monastery in Sussex, planted in 2006. The climate in this area is influenced by marine breezes, bordering Hampshire and Surrey and situated in the southeastern part of England. The harvest is manual; in the cellar, alcoholic fermentation occurs in barriques and a subsequent refermentation in the bottle following the dictates of the Champenoise method. It ages for about 55 months on the lees.

The Cuvée Brut 'Dr Brendan O'Regan' by Pierre Sugrue presents itself with a straw yellow color with golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet of aromas recalls ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, dried fruit, and bread crust with good intensity and richness; on the palate, the structure is fine, soft with a good freshness and final persistence that invite glass after glass. It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, and mollusks, but also with seasonal vegetable dishes. A singular and particular product, suitable for special family occasions to celebrate anniversaries or milestones or for business lunches to share a unique and inimitable product.
