The Valpolicella Ripasso by Monte dei Ragni is a full-bodied, structured, and very deep red wine, vinified using the Ripasso technique and aged for about 30 months in large old barrels. Intense aromas of berries, spices, pepper, and coffee emerge from a rich, powerful, and tannic texture, endowed with elegance and sapidity.

The Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore by Monte dei Ragni is a red wine from Veneto that originates from a very small artisanal production, reflecting the oenological richness brought by all those farmers who, even with just a few thousand bottles, manage to create a range of quality. Territory, passion, and nature come together in a label where aromas and flavors tell of an ordered complexity, where harmony reigns among each organoleptic component. To be savored in small sips, to understand the value of the work done by the winery.

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso signed by Monte dei Ragni is born from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. These three varieties grow in the locality of Marenga, in the municipality of Fumane, at an altitude between 220 and 430 meters above sea level, within a terroir rich in skeleton and limestone. The grapes, once harvested, are dried in open-air plateaux for 25-30 days, and then gently pressed. The must thus obtained ferments in oak barrels oak spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, and the refermentation takes place on the Amarone pomace. The wine is aged for 30 months in oak tonneau, until it is ready to be bottled.

The Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore by Monte dei Ragni presents itself with a ruby red color, endowed with a particular concentration. The nose is layered, where the notes of well-ripened berries are enriched with spicy sensations, acquired during the slow maturation period of the wine in wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, vigorous, with a sip of great enveloping quality thanks to a precise tannic texture; the flavor perceived shifts towards savory. A true gem from Valpolicella, made in very few bottles destined only for the luckiest: an opportunity not to be missed.
