"Mont Des Chretiens" is a Premier Cru Champagne made by Frederic Savart in the Montagne de Reims from a unique selection of only vintage Chardonnay grapes. Vinified in wood for 10 months and aged for at least 3 years in bottle on the lees, it reveals a deep and chalky body, lean and also powerful, with enveloping creaminess, characterized by a very clear and pleasant bouquet of juicy lemons, white flowers, pastry cream, hints of bread crust, and memories of toasted hazelnuts.

The Champagne Extra Brut Premier Cru “Mont Des Chretiens” by Frederic Savart is made from pure Chardonnay, sourced from the Montagne de Reims area, usually known as the cradle of Pinot Noir. The passion for parcel vinification led Frederic Savart to discover a Chardonnay vineyard that expresses grapes of extraordinary quality and personality deserving of a dedicated label. It is a Vintage that highlights the deep and intense character of the Chardonnay from this area, offering the emotion of a taut, intense sip with great expressive freshness.

The Champagne Extra Brut Premier Cru “Mont Des Chretiens” arises from the desire of the young winemaker Frederic Savart to create Champagne that can express the different nuances of his 6 hectares of vineyard. Unlike the large Maisons, which seek to reproduce a recognizable and consistent style over time with their most famous cuvées, Frederic Savart instead aims to highlight the differences and the unique spirit of each Vintage. His labels are produced in small

thousands of bottles, with an absolutely artisanal spirit and are particularly appreciated by great connoisseurs, always in search of interesting novelties and original ways to interpret the Champagne territory.

The Extra Brut Premier Cru “Mont Des Chretiens” by Frederic Savart is a Blanc de Blanc Vintage made only with the best clusters from a small parcel located in Ecueil, characterized by soils rich in limestone and marine fossils. At the end of fermentation, the vins clairs mature for at least 10 months in wood, without undergoing malolactic fermentation, before the creation of the cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Champenoise, with a sur lattes aging period of at least 36 months. It appears in the glass with a bright and luminous golden yellow, marked by very fine and continuous bubbles. A varied olfactory spectrum that offers floral aromas, citrus, yellow fruit, pastry, and hints of dried fruit. The sip is intense, rich, and creamy, with a fresh finish, pleasantly citrusy, and with chalky memories.
