The Lugana 'Centofilari' by Cesari is a white wine from Lake Garda, made from Turbiana and Chardonnay. Fresh, harmonious, and soft on the palate, it offers pleasant aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, and white flowers. A delightful wine to drink as an aperitif or paired with fish and vegetable dishes.

The Venetian producer Cesari presents the Lugana ‘Cento Filari’, a white wine of distinct pleasantness and balance that originates on the southern slope of Lake Garda. Located precisely between the municipalities of Pozzolengo in the province of Brescia and Peschiera del Garda in the province of Verona, the Cento Filari vineyard owes its name to the hundred rows that provide the grapes destined for the production of this Lugana. The plot covers approximately 10 hectares of vines trained using the archetto system, a sort of modified guyot with the shoot that takes almost the shape of an arch, hence the name. The climate is temperate and breezy, strongly influenced by the nearby presence of Lake Garda, while the yields of grapes per hectare are limited.

The ‘Cento Filari’ Lugana from the Cesari winery is made from a solid base of the local variety Turbiana combined with 5% Chardonnay, grape varieties that rest on clay-limestone soils. After the gentle pressing of the bunches, the must is sent for alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.stainless steel at controlled temperature. The aging, which always takes place in steel, occurs on the fine lees for a few months and in spring the wine is finally bottled.

The Lugana 'Cento Filari' by Cesari has a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The aromatic spectrum opens with fruity and floral notes of tropical fruit, ripe apple, yellow peach, and white flowers, soon joined by delicate citrus perceptions. Excellent balance on the palate between the soft and rather full body, the vibrant freshness, and the persistent mineral aftertaste. Remaining in the territorial context, this Lugana represents an exceptional pairing with dishes based on lake fish such as trout or eel.
