The Magliocco "Toccomagliocco" from L'Acino is a red wine of beautiful intensity and concentration that expresses the sunny and Mediterranean soul of Calabria. It features notes of ripe red fruit, spices, and dog rose, with a vibrant, lively, and rustic sip, of beautiful tannic texture and very persistent

The Magliocco “Toccomagliocco” from L'Acino is a deep and territorial red, summarized in liquid form of sunshine and warmth. The resurgence of Calabrian viticulture starts from the faces of enlightened and sensitive people, who have decided to enhance a viticulture previously usurped by productions aimed at quantity and poor quality, revitalizing it with simple gestures and clear ideas. Dino Briglio Nigro is undoubtedly one of the strongholds of the region and his winery, L'Acino, has become a reference point for all enthusiasts of artisanal wine thanks to straightforward yet complex and expressive interpretations. The grape varieties of Cosentino, namely Magliocco, Mantonico, Guarnaccia, Guarnaccino, and Greco Bianco reach their expressive peak in Dino's hands, without filters or manipulations of any kind. Try it to believe.

The wine “Toccomagliocco” is made from pure Magliocco grapes grown in San Marco Argentano in the province of Cosenza. In the vineyard, the principles of organic farming are followed, banning the use of any chemical substances, pesticides, and herbicides and in the winery, it continues consistently with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and no filtration or clarification of the liquid. Aging for 10 months in second or third passage tonneaux.

The “Toccomagliocco” pours into the glass with an intense and impenetrable ruby hue. From the very first sniff, it tells of its area of origin, clearly and decisively with hints of wild scrub, ripe plum, carob, and dark spices. The sip is full and plump, thanks to a perfect blend of flesh and tannin, firm yet never rough. A satisfying and filling red that, due to its structure, finds the perfect pairing with flavorful first and second courses based on meat.
