Passito di Nocera Kio di Cambria is a wine that tells the deep bond of the Cambria family with their land. A label produced by the pioneering winery in the enhancement of Nocera, an ancient Sicilian grape variety grown on the north-eastern coast of the island, from which the legendary wine of the Mamertini warriors and their captain Kio is born. An original interpretation that celebrates the purity of this indigenous variety and preserves the aromas and flavors of the hills of Furnari, concentrated in a great passito that tells the story of this enchanting corner of Sicily nestled between the Nebrodi mountains and the Gulf of Tindari.

Cambria Kio Passito di Nocera is obtained from 100% Nocera grapes, cultivated with dedication in north-facing soils, in a unique terroir, where good ventilation and significant temperature variations between day and night allow the grapes to reach optimal ripeness thanks to a slow and progressive aromatic and sugar concentration. Once hand-harvested, the bunches are naturally dried on racks in ventilated environments.ventilated for about three weeks. This is followed by a traditional vinification and aging of about 24 months in barrique, during which this sweet red wine acquires structure and aromatic complexity.

The Passito di Nocera Kio presents itself in the glass with an intense red color, with garnet reflections; on the nose, it impresses with its aromas of dried plums, dates, and berries, sweetened by notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Great sweetness and softness, balanced in the mouth by an unexpected freshness, where the spicy notes, delicately balsamic, make the sip pleasantly harmonious and velvety.
