Pecorino 'Giocheremo con i Fiori' is a medium-bodied white wine from Abruzzo. It is characterised by floral and citrus notes and a soft, fresh and fragrant taste, enriched by highly expressive herbaceous and mineral tones
Torre dei Beati's 'Giocheremo con i Fiori' Pecorino is a unique wine, well balanced by an acidic-savoury streak that makes it truly splendid. This Pecorino is the fruit of the will of Adriana Salasso and Fausto Albanesi, who in 2000 found themselves in possession of Adriana's father's vineyard land and decided to manage it on their own. Right from the start and with firm conviction, Fausto and Adriano chose to operate the vineyard organically, now certified. We are therefore no longer faced with a small outsider winery, but rather with a reality that, thanks to very clear ideas and first and foremost to a very happy position and maturity of the vineyards, authoritatively achieves levels of quality of absolute importance.
The level of depth of expression of this Pecorino 'Giocheremo con i fiori' is truly surprising and, in addition, it is united by a well-marked but always elegant thread of natural sapidity, which is the true strength of the terroir on which the Torre dei Beati vineyards grow. This Pecorino amazes from the very first sip, thanks to its ever-elegant effervescence, freshness and aromatic complexity.
The credit for this complexity, in addition to the constant and precise work of Adriana and Fausto, certainly also goes to the terrain: the vineyards are located in the foothills of the Gran Sasso, downstream of the Tavo torrent; here the soil is clayey-calcareous, rich in skeleton with strong temperature swings between day and night, and is able to give the grapes a strong exaltation of the aromatic dowry. This is how Pecorino 'Giocheremo con i fiori' (Playing with Flowers) was born, with the passion of a unique winery, capable of bringing out the best of the characteristics of the Loreto Aprutino territory.
