The Rum Solera 21 made by the La Hechicera distillery is a demonstration of how the world of spirits is in constant evolution, ready to propose new realities capable of surprising. This is the case with this label, produced only a few years ago in Colombia by the Riascos family, resulting from the blend of various aged Rums using the Solera Method, which imparts typical woody and tobacco notes that engage the nose in a succession of well-timed aromas. A bottle perfect for sipping as a meditation spirit, during the most thoughtful evenings.

The Solera 21 Rum from La Hechicera is born in Colombia, from the processing of sugar cane which, turned into molasses, is distilled under the watchful eye of Ronero Giraldo Mituoka, a great master distiller of Cuban origin. At the end of the production process, the Rum is aged using the Solera Method, with a range between 12 and 21 years of maturation, in oak barrels that previously contained Bourbon. At the time of bottling, no additives or sugars are added, and the Rum is transferred into a bottle with an elegant and refined profile, an added value of a product that aims to impress also for the aesthetic image it communicates.

The Rum Solera 21 La Hechicera presents itself to the eye with a color reminiscent of amber, characterized by a good chromatic depth. Interesting is the succession of fragrant notes on the palate, where spicier touches alternate with coffee, while fruity and chocolate nuances develop. The sip is broad and fascinating, with good intensity and structure, characterized by a taste that recalls the aromas already perceived during the olfactory analysis, highlighting an excellent coherence between nose and mouth. A Rum that has only recently appeared on the market (it was launched in 2012), but which, despite this, has become one of the most appreciated and awarded internationally in just a few years.
