Il Sant'Isidoro is a rosé wine from Marche, obtained from a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano grapes. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out by indigenous yeasts and the malolactic fermentation takes place in steel. Delicate aromas of roses, berries, and Mediterranean scrub enliven a firm and fresh body, invigorated by a fine savory push.

The rosé "Sant'Isidoro" is a lively wine, whose drinkability is never tiring, but always captivating. It is a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano, grape varieties that the Maria Pia Castelli winery nurtures according to organic farming principles, following a highly artisanal philosophy, where quality must always prevail over quantity. A label with varied aromas, which in the mouth reveals an interesting savory progression, contributing to making the sip an almost automatic gesture.

This "Sant'Isidoro" by Maria Pia Castelli comes to life thanks to a blend where, alongside 50% Sangiovese, we find 50% Montepulciano. The vines of these two varieties have an average age of 20 years, and they root themselves in soil composed mainly of clay and iron components, located about 200 meters above sea level. The grapes, cultivated following organic farming principles, once harvested, ferment alcoholically in steel, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, also undergoing the malolactic fermentation. The maturation also takes place in steel, lasting for a year, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.

The "Sant'Isidoro" wine reveals itself in the glass with a cherry pink color, very inviting to the eye. The aromas that envelop the nose convey mainly fruity sensations, complemented by notes of flowers, Mediterranean scrub, and more mineral touches. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, balanced, with a sip characterized by a savory vein and a taste centered on fruit. A label with which the Maria Pia Castelli winery offers a wine destined for softer palates, eager to engage with a rosé of pleasant freshness, ideal to enjoy with pizzas and stuffed focaccias.
