The "Trentanni" is a celebratory red wine that celebrates the 30 years of operation of the Falesco winery, founded in '79 by Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella. It is a well-balanced blend of Merlot and Sangiovese grapes grown within the Umbrian estate of Marciliano. The olfactory spectrum is characterized by fruity aromas of cherry and plum jam, followed by tones of vanilla, sweet spices, and toasted hints, due to the aging in barrique. The sip is full and soft, endowed with warmth, persistence, balanced tannins, and comforting freshness
The “Trentanni” from the Cotarella Family is an Umbrian red that develops in the glass with a ruby color soul, characterized by light reflections tending more towards garnet. The fruit, even in jam form, makes its appearance first on the nose, followed by more Mediterranean touches and spicy hints where vanilla joins other sweet notes. On the palate, it has excellent body, round and soft, with a warm sip that presents good freshness and a finely crafted tannic structure. A label that arises from the owner’s many years of experience, obtained through in-depth studies and research on the processing of Merlot and Sangiovese.
