The Vosne Romanée by Faiveley is a rich and complex red wine from Burgundy, aged in oak barrels for 14-16 months. Its aromatic profile is full of fruity, spicy and toasted notes. The taste is powerful and elegant, very well-balanced

The Vosne Romanée from Domaine Faiveley needs no introduction. It is a Pinot Noir that originates from one of the mythical places in the wine world, right in the heart of Burgundy. An elegant, refined red that, thanks to long aging in wood, acquires a great aromatic complexity. The bouquet recalls aromas of small red fruits, enriched by light spicy and woody notes. The sip is harmonious and balanced with a beautifully persistent finish.

The Vosne Romanée is produced from the precious Pinot Noir grapes grown in Vosne Romanée, a small but famous Appellation of Burgundy, located in the heart of the renowned Côte de Nuits, near Vougeot. The particularly suited soils and the perfect microclimate for ripening a delicate and demanding grape variety like Pinot Noir have created over the centuries the charm of these few hectares of vineyard. The grape harvest is strictly manual, selecting only the best bunches. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in French oak barriques, mostly new, for a period of about 16 months, before being bottled.

The Pinot Noir Vosne Romanée from Domaine Faiveley perfectly represents the style of the best Pinot Noirs from Burgundy. Refined and intense, it is a true pleasure to savor slowly to appreciate its harmony. In the glass, it has a rather intense ruby red color, with garnet hues. The aromatic profile is particularly rich and expressive with delicate aromas of red fruit, toasted nuances, spicy notes, and woodiness. On the palate, it has good structure, with notable complexity and aromatic richness, elegant tannins, and great taste balance, finishing with pleasant freshness.
