WHISKY SINGLE MALT DOUBLE WOOD BALVENIE 12 ANNI DESCRIPTION

The Single Malt Triple Cask 12 years encapsulates the strength of Whiskies made in Speyside, increased by a particular choice wanted by the Balvenie distillery, which decides to make it starting from a cut of three Whiskies characterized by different ageing periods and woods. A decision that makes this product even more structured and complex, where the aromas on the nose are elegant and structured at the same time, opening to a full and enveloping sip, endowed with a particular incisiveness during drinking. A label for true connoisseurs who wish to compare themselves with a Whisky of a decidedly higher level.

This Single Malt Triple Cask 12-year-old Whisky comes from a selection of Whiskies that all originate from barley malt obtained from Balvenie's own proprietary crops. In fact, the distillery owns about 1,000 acres where it grows barley using natural techniques. The distillation is followed with passion and attention to the smallest details and leads to the production of three different Whiskies, with 12-, 16- and 25-year maturations, carried out respectively in new and first-pass wood that contained Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry - from which the final cut is then made to obtain this Single Malt Triple Cask.

Single Malt Triple Cask 12 Years is a Whisky that develops in the glass with a golden yellow colour, endowed with good concentration and intensity. Sweet and rich scents emerge on the nose, moving on a fruity texture, also enriched by clear references to cream and cinnamon. In the mouth, it is good-bodied, enveloping on the palate, with a sip characterized by a good aromatic taste. A label born of the Balvenie distillery's desire to combine different paths and refinements into a single soul, to be discovered and known through a curious and enterprising spirit.
