The Amarone by Secondo Marco is left to wither 120 days before aging in oak barrels for 42 months. It has a rich and varied bouquet alternating black currant and cherry with notes of black pepper and roasted coffee. The taste is soft and velvety, with a nice tannic

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is interpreted by the Secondo Marco winery with a wine where strength and personality abound, as one can easily notice from the very first sips. An expression that is perfectly capable of aging for the next 15 years and thus represents a guarantee for those who want to invest in a label of absolute quality, which is already able to offer a drink of great originality right now. Absolutely worth trying, also for the pedigree of awards received year after year.

The Amarone Classico della Valpolicella is born from a blend of indigenous red grape varieties from the Veneto region, where we mainly find Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. The training system used is that of the pergoletta, and during the manual harvest, the Secondo Marco winery selects only the best bunches, which are then left to dry for about 120 days. The must ferments for 45 days, macerating in contact with the skins. Finally, it proceeds with the important aging phase, in which the wine remains first for 42 months in oak barrels with a capacity.of 50 hectoliters, and after bottling for another 12 months to mature directly in glass.

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico wine signed by the Secondo Marco winery reveals itself to the eye with a dark and dense color, reminiscent of ruby. The nose is deep, from which emerge sensations of small red and black fruits, alternating with hints of spices and lightly toasted coffee. On the palate, it has excellent body, vigorous, soft, and warm, with a consistent and tasty profile, relying on perfectly crafted tannins that enhance the smoothness of the sip. A label of great character and intensity, symbol of a great territory and a particular method of production.
