Beer Saison 'Wayan' Baladin - 75cl
Artisanal"Wayan" Saison by Baladin is a lovely homage to Teo's first daughter: peppery, feminine, perfumed and floreal. The sip is sweet, citrusy, spicy and fresh with a really pleasant drinkability
The "Wayan" by Baladin is a beer inspired by the Saison model, the classic fresh, thirst-quenching beer that is especially appreciated in summer. It is a beer originating from the Belgian region of Wallonia, which was traditionally produced in the winter months to be consumed in the warmer months. It is made using high fermentation methods, has a moderate alcohol content, and rich, intense aromas that range from the freshness of citrus to fruity softness, with spicy and floral nuances.
The Saison "Wayan" Baladin is the ideal companion for summer dinners featuring sushi, sashimi, mollusks, crustaceans, or to be enjoyed with a platter of fresh or lightly aged cheeses. It is produced with a complex mix of cereals, including: barley malt, spelt, wheat malt, wheat, buckwheat, and rye. The aromas come from hops grown in Italy, spices, citrus peels, and aromatic herbs. Once the production process is complete, it is bottled without pasteurization and without filtration. It is a label that is part of the Spiced Beers Baladin, beers with an elegant and original personality, made with a particularly careful selection of grains and the use of spices to enrich the bouquet with refined expressive nuances.
The Saison "Wayan" from the Piedmont brewery Baladin is a refreshing beer, yet equipped with a particularly articulated and complex aromatic profile. In the glass, it presents itself with a deep yellow color and a slight haze. The foam is delicate and persistent, cream-colored. The olfactory profile is characterized by intense aromas of white flowers, aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub and subtle hints of oriental spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, light, with an entry that releases a pleasant sensation of citrus freshness, accompanied by vegetal and slightly spicy notes. The finish is satisfying and very smooth. It is the beer that Teo Musso wanted to dedicate to his first daughter and reflects her lively and exuberant character.
