It is a young and smooth red that, thanks to particularly delicate winemaking, enhances the natural elegance and the best varietal characteristics of this extraordinary Bordeaux grape, one of the most loved and widespread in the world. In Argentina, and particularly in the Mendoza area, it has found a habitat to express itself very well, benefiting from a mild climate that always allows for excellent grape ripening.
The "Vive" Cabernet Sauvignon from Bodega Alta Vista comes to life in one of the most important estates in the famous Mendoza area. The property, in fact, spans over 200 hectares, divided into five farms, all located at altitude, in areas highly suited to the foothills of the Andes. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from the estate vineyards cultivated in the Mendoza area. At the end of the harvest,Manual, the grapes are brought to the winery where they are destemmed and the berries are then sent for fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-28 °C, with a maceration period on the skins of about ten days. Before bottling, the wine matures for six months. 25% in French oak barrels and the rest in steel tanks, in order to preserve the typical varietal freshness of Cabernet Sauvignon.
The red Cabernet Sauvignon 'Vive' from Bodega Alta Vista is a beautiful expression of the grape variety, focused mainly on the richness and immediate taste pleasure of a wine with still crunchy aromas. It presents a beautiful dark ruby red color, with slight violet reflections. On the nose, it offers all the exuberance of a young wine, with aromas of black currant, blueberry, wild blackberry, ripe cherry, and light vegetal nuances of aromatic herbs. Of medium structure, it has elegant and juicy aromas, fine tannins, and a soft, agile, and smooth sip, leading to a fresh and persistent finish.
