The Chablis from Domaine d’Elise is a classic white, born from a small estate in northern Burgundy. Frédéric Prain, a former engineer who has led the winery since the 1980s, cultivates 13 hectares above the Premier Cru Côte de Léchet and harvests the Chardonnay later than usual, to obtain well-ripened grapes. On the nose, citrus, green apple, and a distinct chalky note emerge. The sip is fresh and savory, with a slightly creamy texture and a clean finish. Perfect with a plate of natural oysters
