Chardonnay Cotes du Jura 'Tourmentine' La Terre Penchée 2023

The Côtes-du-Jura ‘La Tourmentine’ by La Terre Penchée is an elegant and deeply territorial white from Jura. It represents the first cuvée made by Étienne Gasnier and Margaux Dermine, a young couple of winemakers who in 2022 purchased and converted a Chardonnay vineyard in the lieu-dit En Billat to organic farming. The grapes ferment spontaneously with minimal intervention and age for ten months partly in used barriques. On the nose, citrus notes, fresh apple, white flowers, and delicate mineral hints emerge.
