San Donatino’s ‘Poggio ai Mori’ Chianti Classico comes from a vineyard situated on a hill surrounded by oak woods, with varied exposures that allow the terroir of Castellina to be captured and a complex profile to emerge. It is vinified exclusively in stainless steel and concrete tanks to enhance the fruit and freshness. On the nose, it offers red fruits, undergrowth and violets; on the palate, it is harmonious, fresh and smooth, with noticeable yet rounded tannins.
