From our sommeliers
The Folle Blanche from Les Quatre Journaux comes from one of the historic grape varieties of the French Atlantic coast, long destined primarily for the production of Cognac and Armagnac. In the Pays Nantais, in the Loire Valley, this variety expresses one of its most authentic and traditional interpretations. The grapes come from the magmatic soils of Clos Saint-Vincent, and the rigorous yield control gives the wine an uncommon structure and depth for the type. On the nose, fresh citrus notes, white-fleshed fruit, and mineral nuances emerge. The sip is tense and incisive, supported by vibrant freshness and a marked mineral imprint. Excellent paired with Atlantic oysters
