The Gevrey Chambertin "Aux Corvées" is a red wine of great territoriality and elegance capable of expressing the crystalline class of Burgundy's Pinot Noir. On the nose, it is composed of notes of small juicy red fruits, forest berries, spices, and toasted memories. On the palate, it has a noble, majestic, and juicy texture, with refined tannins and excellent freshness.

The Gevrey Chambertin “Aux Corvées” by Henri Richard originates from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, in the land where great Pinot Noir is produced. In 1938, Jean Richard decided to buy a small plot of land to start making wine; in 1939, his son Henri supported his father in the project, initiating a family tradition that still continues today with strength and passion: Henri's daughters and now his grandchildren continue the original project. In 2005, organic certification was officially obtained with the help of winemaker Patrick Malloier, and subsequently, a step forward was made by obtaining biodynamic certification.

The Pinot Noir grapes of the Gevrey Chambertin “Lux Corvées” by Henri Richard come from vineyards aged between 20 and 50 years, where human intervention is minimized to respect the raw material and the ripening times of the fruit. The altitude at which the plants are located is between 250 and 300 meters above sea level with a good sun exposure, oriented towards the east. The grapes are hand-harvested, and vinification occurs with whole clusters through alcoholic fermentation in wood; it ages for more than 12 months in barrique and is bottled without any clarification or filtration.

The Gevrey Chambertin “Lux Corvées” by Henri Richard in the glass is an intense ruby red with garnet reflections; on the nose, it releases notes of wild berries, blueberry, and strawberry, along with sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals elegance with hints of ripe, full fruit and delicate tannins that invite sip after sip. It is recommended to pair with cuts of red meat, both braised and grilled; also, with first courses dressed with important and flavorful sauces and aged cheeses for a curious end to the meal. An excellent product to sip during winter evenings by the fireplace with a good book as a companion or for formal occasions to share a wine with great prospects, born from the work of people dedicated to respecting the nature that surrounds us.
