Gin Elephant is a, hand crafted London Dry produed in Germany from botanicals from South Africa. It embodies the exotic and adventurous charm of the African expeditions and supports the preservation of African elephants. It is smooth, full.bodied, complex and fragrant. Great smooth, in the Dry Martini or in a classic Gin Tonic

The Gin London Dry Elephant is handcrafted in Germany, in a small distillery near Hamburg, in small batches of 600-700 bottles from botanicals mostly sourced from South Africa. This small quality production is inspired by the exotic charm of the early adventurous European explorations of Africa and is part of a project for the protection and preservation of African elephants. In Africa, an elephant dies every 15 minutes, which is why the Elephant Gin Distillery has chosen to donate 15% of the profit from each individual bottle to two organizations fighting against poaching and advocating for the protection of the territory inhabited by these large yet vulnerable mammals.

The Elephant Gin is produced using a simple and traditional method: after a maceration of the spices in alcohol, a slow distillation with a copper still is carried out. The main botanicals used come from South Africa (buchu, baobab fruit, lion's tail, devil's claw, and African wormwood) but German apples are also used, juniper berries from Tuscany, Hungary, and Macedonia, Chinese ginger, Austrian pine, and Mexican allspice. While African spices give the gin exotic and distinctive tones, European botanicals provide body and structure.

Each bottle of Gin Elephant is hand-numbered and, for each batch, the name of one of the elephants that the two foundations are helping to save is also written. The label, logo, and packaging, complete with twine wrapping the cork, recall the letters and accounts written by explorers of the nineteenth century.
