Gin The Illusionist - 50cl
Gin The Illusionist is an original bottle wrapped in an aura of mystery and magic: in fact it is a blue Dry Gin made without artificial ingredients that changes shades and becomes pink/purple when tonic water is added. A unique and revolutionary idea by Max Muggenthaler and Tim Steglich, founders and magicians of the Bavaria distillery, which lends itself to the creation of cocktails with surprising chromatic effects
The Illusionist is a Premium Gin with a mysterious and captivating charm. The dark bottle, in perfect old style, conceals its face. If the surprise is great when its intense blue color is revealed, the astonishment increases when, pouring tonic water, the color magically turns pink. Just its appearance already tells the story of a careful search by the two founders of the brand: Max Muggenthaler and Tim Steglich, great enthusiasts of distillates, who created this small artisanal reality near Munich. The Illusionist is not just a changing appearance, it is also an elegant and refined Gin, fragrant and fresh, which conquers with a harmonious profile, played entirely between citrus sensations, balsamic freshness, and spicy softness.
The Illusionist is a organic Gin made in small batches and dedicated to a curious audience of enthusiasts. It arises from an in-depth research based on the desire to create an absolutely new product, capable of enchanting first the eye and then the taste of consumers. The secret of success is based on a blend of 16 ingredients from local and international farmers, who work in an artisanal way. Among the botanicals used, we recall: licorice root, mace, citrus peels, cardamom, lavender, angelica, rosemary, and juniper berries. At the end of a careful infusion phase in alcohol, to extract scents and aromas, distillation is carried out in traditional copper Pot Still stills. The result is an elegant Gin, with complex aromas and great finesse.
The Gin The Illusionist offers an innovative experience to enthusiasts of the famous distillate, positioning itself as a true specialty. From the choice of the name, displayed on an elegant Art Nouveau style label, it reveals its essence. In the glass, it presents a dark blue color, bright and shiny, but in contact with tonic water it turns pink. The bouquet is of great finesse, with scents of citrus peel, bitter orange peel, aromatic herbs, medicinal herbs, floral nuances, and balsamic hints. The sip is soft and enveloping, intense and aromatic, with a pleasantly fresh and persistent finish.
