Ginger Beer Fentimans (4x20cl)
Ginger Beer is the historic and traditional drink produced by Fentimans since 1905, using a secret recipe with ginger roots. Today you can drink it very cold or using it for the creation of cocktail like Moscow Mule. It is fresh, lively, pleasant and refreshing, with the aroma of ginger
The Fentimans Ginger Beer represents an important page in the history of this beverage made from ginger root. It has been produced since 1905, when worker Thomas Fentimans acquired a secret production recipe from a colleague, as collateral for a failed repayment of a loan. From that moment on, the Ginger Beer branded with the Fearless dog has made the fortune of the Fentimans family production house, becoming known and appreciated all over the world.
The Fentimans Ginger Beer is still produced today respecting a traditional production method called Botanical Brewing, conceived in the early 1900s and based on the fermentation of botanical ingredients. Today many things have changed and technology has offered new solutions, but this recipe has remained unchanged in its fundamental steps: the ginger roots are chopped and ground, placed in copper containers with spring water, slowly brought to a boil; the ginger extract thus obtained is filtered and placed in wooden tanks, where it ferments thanks to the action of sugar and brewer's yeast. Today the product is filtered and pasteurized, thus stabilizing and preserving better in glass bottles.
The Traditional Fentimans Ginger Beer is obtained, in addition to the ginger roots that give it an unmistakable pungent aroma, also from other ingredients, used in smaller amounts, such as aromatic herbs, juniper, and pear juice. Overall, the result is harmonious and perfectly balanced: an excellent soft drink to be enjoyed chilled for refreshment, teasing the palate with the light carbonation and the subtle spiciness of ginger, or to be used to prepare cocktails and refreshing dry long drinks, such as the Moscow Mule and its many fruit-based variations.
