Grappa Affinata 'Monprà' Berta

The Aged Grappa “Monprà” by Berta is a distillate with an elegant profile, made from the pomace of two grape varieties that are strongly representative of Piedmontese viticulture, Barbera and Nebbiolo. The entire production phase is monitored consistently and carefully by the distillery team, ensuring that the final product retains the most characteristic aromas and scents of the used pomace, alternated with the typical notes of wood aging. The “Monprà” Grappa is made by Berta starting from the pomace of Barbera and Nebbiolo, coming from vineyards particularly suited for the cultivation of these two varieties. The pomace remains very fresh because they are stored in food-grade plastic containers with a capacity of 200 kilograms, where fermentation takes place. The distillation phase then follows, which uses steam heated stills. At the end of the processing, once the Grappa is obtained, it is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, and once this period is over, the bottling operations are carried out.

The “Monprà” Berta is a Grappa that in the glass announces itself with a typically amber color, possessing a particular brilliance and purity. Refined and harmonious on the nose, it unfolds with a progression of fruity and spicy notes. The taste profile is concentrated in the mouth, tracing a broad and enveloping sip on the palate, with flavors that align with the aromas already perceived during the olfactory analysis.
