Loureiro 'Phaunus' Aphros Wine is a macerated white wine that reflects Aphros Wine's radical approach to Portuguese biodynamics. Fermented spontaneously in terracotta amphorae coated with beeswax, this wine is aged for six months on the skins and challenges the conventions of traditional Loureiro. The nose reveals hints of dried chamomile, ripe peach and ginger. On the palate, it is enveloping, with delicate tannins and great mineral flavour. It pairs perfectly with mature cheeses and octopus cooked in olive oil with garlic and olives
