The Malbec 'Gaucho Club' from the Vallisto winery is a red wine produced in the north of Argentina. Characterized by a ruby red color with violet reflections, this label expresses itself with hints of red fruit and spicy notes of chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, it is round and pleasant with an excellent persistent finish.

Vallisto Malbec ‘Gaucho Club’ is a red wine from the New World with a fruity and spicy aromatic profile. Vallisto is a joint venture between Hugh Ryman and Marcelo Pelleriti established in the Cafayate Valley, in the province of Salta, Argentina. The “gaucho”, a characteristic figure of South America, represents a horse-riding nomad dedicated to managing herds typically in the Latin prairies, the so-called “pampas”, resembling a sort of local cowboy. This character is a symbol of tradition directly associated with the customs of the Argentine countryside, and the label in question aims to highlight its connection to the territory.

The Vallisto ‘Gaucho Club’ Malbec is a 100% Malbec grown in Cafayate, Argentina. This wine region is located in the northwest of the country, at an incredible altitude of about 1,700 meters above sea level. The characteristic altitude allows the vines to benefit from significant temperature variations between day and night, while the soil consists of draining sandy clays. Following the harvest, the grapes destined for ‘Gaucho Club’ are vinified in red in a classic manner, with aging carried out without the use of wooden barrels.

To the eye, the Argentine Malbec Vallisto ‘Gaucho Club’ presents itself with a ruby red color with purple reflections. The aromatic range is vivid and mature, characterized by fruity notes of cherry and blueberry accompanied by spicy hints of tobacco and chocolate. Intense and round sip, pleasant and persistent, with a fine tannic texture. Due to its great territorial adherence, this red pairs wonderfully with the traditional matambre arrollado, a tasty roll of beef or pork stuffed with vegetables, ham, hard-boiled eggs, and aromatic herbs.
