Mezcal Cupreata La Planta

The Mezcal ‘Cupreata’ La Planta tells the essence of Guerrero, in Mexico, and of the Agave Cupreata, an endemic variety of the Sierra Madre. Local farmers call it maguey papalote, kite, for the rosette of broad leaves that unfold like wings. Grown in the mountains and distilled in a copper still according to tradition, it gives life to a spirit with a straightforward character. On the nose it reveals smoky and earthy notes, with fermented coffee, roasted cocoa and fresh hay. On the palate it is deep and earthy, soft and persistent, with a sweet and very aromatic finish
