Tormaresca Antinori's Primitivo 'Neprica' is a red wine from Puglia, produced in the province of Brindisi and aged in steel for around eight months to maintain its fragrant and fruity sensory profile. It has an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections and releases notes of black cherries, fresh and candied red berries and aromas of liquorice on the nose, revealing a soft, round palate with evolved tannins, awakened by a balanced freshness

The Apulian red Primitivo "Neprica" Tormaresca - Antinori is a wine in which pleasantness and character come together. The entry on the palate is soft and the flow of the drink is supported by a pleasant freshness, the key to a sensory balance that is also perfectly balanced on the nose. This wine is ready to drink now, but can still evolve for a couple of years, further developing the hints of liquorice and cocoa that are already apparent today. With labels such as 'Neprica', Tormaresca confirms its position as a real strength within the Antinori family's universe, which was forward-thinking in recognising the potential of Puglia in the wine sector some 20 years ago.

This "Neprica" Tormaresca - Antinori is a pure Primitivo wine that comes from a selection of plots located in the Maìme Estate in San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi. The grapes are harvested when they are slightly overripe, and after destemming, the berries are sent to the press. The must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, macerating for 8-10 days at a temperature not exceeding 26 degrees. Malolactic fermentation takes place before the start of winter. The final stage of ageing takes place first for 8 months in steel and then, after bottling, for another 4 months directly in glass.

The Primitivo "Neprica" Tormaresca - Antinori presents itself to the eye with a typical ruby colour, distinguished by some reflections tending towards purple. The fruit creeps into the nose first, with fresh and clear memories, while at the end of the olfactory analysis, the profile of the wine is tinged with more spicy touches. On the palate, it has a light body, in which the tannins - round and finely integrated into the structure - and the fruity taste, perfectly echoing the olfactory characteristics, can be appreciated. A classic and traditional label, which accurately reflects one of the most important varietals for Puglia at a more than attractive price.
