To enjoy it at its best, we recommend you to let the wine 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
Medium open goblet
Medium open goblet

Perfect for young and medium bodied red wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion

When to drink

Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar

You can easily leave it in you cellar for 4-5 years

The Roero Rosso is another proof of the undisputed skill of the cellar Matteo Correggia. The Nebbiolo of Roero region is vinified with patience and dedication, creating this wonderful red wine that convinces us with the sincere tale of a territory as this side of the Tanaro river, rich and complex as the Langhe on the other side. The name Matteo Correggia is a guarantee of perfection, as it is easy to notice uncorking a bottle that bears the signature of one of the greatest producers in Piedmont and Italian, thanks to the love and the strength of the wife of Matteo, Ornella Costa. She makes wine with the same art and passion of her husband. The Roero Rosso Matteo Correggia is a tribute to the Nebbiolo grapes of Piedmont. Without mincing words, in tasting it shows its noble character, opening with enveloping aromas of dried flowers in the sunshine , violets and sweet spring flowers. The palate is intense and nicely structured with smooth tannins, expertly educated in a voluptuous embrace that give an infinite pleasure to the tasting. Once again the combination of Piedmont and Nebbiolo not betray the expectations, two names linked by a common destiny as well as Roero and Matteo Correggia.
