‘Al Posto dei Fiori’ is a rosé from Le Pianelle. Created in 2010, it is an experimental product, a rosé almost entirely from Nebbiolo, with a small balance of Vespolina and Croatina. The hand-selected grapes are destemmed and partially left to macerate for forty-eight hours. The fermentation is conducted in steel at low temperature, with a small portion of grapes entrusted to Slavonian oak. The result is a savory and taut rosé, with hints of fruit and aromatic herbs. Excellent with spaghetti with clams
