The Rosato 'Vela Vento Vulcano' from Tenuta Cavalier Pepe is a versatile and fresh rosé from the hills of Irpinia. The label pays homage to the Gulf of Naples and is made mainly from Aglianico grapes from five vineyards owned by the winery. Cold maceration precedes fermentation at low temperature for about three weeks. The nose is fragrant with hints of red fruits, enriched with notes of rose petals and violets. The palate is fresh, balanced and persistent, with a clear mineral vein. It pairs naturally with a margherita pizza
