The "Galeae" Rossese of Dolceacqua is a great expression and personality. Bouquet broad ranging from pomegranate white pepper, with a spicy finish playing on vertical and cool tones. A great example of heroic viticulture from one of the most prestigious cru of Dolceacqua

The Rossese di Dolceacqua “Galeae” by Ka’ Manciné is a wine that captivates with its own refinement. It is precisely due to this trait, dominant both on the nose and in the mouth with fruity aromas and linear flavors, that the “Galeae” impresses those in front of it, demonstrating how elegance is a goal that is anything but easy to achieve. A bottle that tells the story of winemaking in Liguria through a varietal, the Rossese, on which the winery has specialized thanks to the versatility of this grape, capable of changing significantly depending on the interpretation given to it. A label to choose when you want to sip something new and authentic at the same time.

The “Galeae” Rossese di Dolceacqua Ka’ Manciné originates from Rossese vines, a classic grape of Ligurian viticulture, cultivated in parcels characterized by clayey and calcareous subsoil, rich in disintegrated rock. We are located about 400 meters above sea level, with a southeast-facing exposure. The clusters are harvested late, and are immediately destemmed; the best berries are then pressed, and the must ferments by long maceration in contact with the skins. The final maturation phase takes place in steel.

The Rossese di Dolceacqua “Galeae” Ka' Manciné presents itself to the eye with a concentrated ruby red color. The olfactory spectrum that spreads to the nose tells of spicy notes, enriched by a hint that recalls the scent of pomegranate. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a dynamic sip that asserts itself in the mouth with a velvety and enveloping character; it finishes with a good freshness. A young bottle, excellent to taste now but that in the coming years will be able to further develop the ethereal and spicy contours on the nose. Game, red meat, and aged cheeses: here are the preferred pairings at the table.
