Eugenio Rosi's Rosso Dolce 'Doron' is a dessert wine with a typically territorial face. It is, in fact, produced in Vallagarina, with Marzemino, the red grape variety historically grown in this area of Trentino. Its natural fruity harmony is enhanced by raisining, which concentrates the aromas and sugars, giving a precious nectar, reminiscent of notes of wild berry jam, spices and nuances of dark chocolate. It is an artisanal wine, produced with care and passion in small quantities, out of love for the territory and its ancient customs. A small jewel to be discovered.

Doron' is a sweet red wine that originates in the beautiful hilly area of Vallagarina. Eugenio Rosi, after working as an oenologist at the social wine cellar of Vallagarina, decided to strike out on his own at the end of the 1990s, renting some vineyards. Thus was born the project to create a small estate to make artisanal wines, capable of interpreting the characteristics of this corner of Trentino in a straightforward and transparent manner. Vallagarina is located near Rovereto and occupies the last stretch that the Adige River runs through between the region's mountain ranges. The climate is mild, thanks in part to the proximity of the Lake Garda basin. Here Marzemino has found its ideal habitat and thanks to the sunny exposition it ripens very well. The wine is made from the best grapes, which are dried on mats. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and subsequent ageing takes place in Slavonian oak casks and small cherry wood barrels.

It is dark ruby red in colour, dense and rich. The bouquet offers aromas of wild blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe cherry, hints of chocolate, nuances of tobacco and spices. On the palate it is persuasive and soft, with a mouthfeel of sweet, broad and enveloping fruit, well balanced by a fresh, slightly tannic finish.
