Rosso "Perlato del Bosco" by Tua Rita is a wine made from Sangiovese grape and it is aged 12 months between barriques and Cuvée. Jam of red berries and Mediterranean sensations pleasantly blowing on the nose

The Red "Perlato del Bosco" by Tua Rita is a pure Sangiovese aged in wood, with good structure and aromatic complexity, perfectly expressing the typical characteristics of the great Tuscan grape variety and the splendid terroir of Val di Cornia, characterized by soils rich in mineral substances. An intense and Mediterranean red, offering a range of aromas that span from red fruits to the typical scents of the Mediterranean scrub, to the mineral sensations typical of the terroir of the Metalliferous Hills.

The wine "Perlato del Bosco" comes from a vineyard of Sangiovese planted with clones specifically chosen to best adapt to the high summer temperatures and the dry and drought-prone climate of the coastal area of Maremma Toscana. The vines are cultivated between the Tyrrhenian Sea coastline and the Metalliferous Hills. The soils, predominantly composed of clay, silt, and sand, with abundant presence of skeleton, are very rich in mineral substances and give the wines a particular iron and saline territorial connotation. The vines are trained with spurred cordon and Guyot with a planting density of 5000-9000.stumps per hectare and managed under organic farming. After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts that takes place in wooden vats. The wine matures for 12 months, 50% in second and third passage French oak barriques and 50% in conical oak vats of 35 hectoliters.

The "Perlato del Bosco" Tua Rita is a beautiful expression of Sangiovese, captivating for its typically territorial character and its distinct Mediterranean and mineral profile. It is a true terroir wine, that straightforwardly and directly recalls the peculiarities of the soils and climate of the Metalliferous Hills of the Val di Cornia area. The color is a fairly intense ruby red. The olfactory profile opens with aromas of small forest fruits, notes of jam, hints of violet, and elegant balsamic and herbal scents. The sip is rich and generous, with ripe fruit, a tannic texture of fine elegance, clear mineral sensations, and a fresh and savory finish.
