The 'Coffee Cask' Santa Teresa Rum is born in the mountainous valley of Aragua, Venezuela, where the homonymous hacienda has been cultivating sugar cane, cocoa, and coffee since its foundation in 1796, still in the hands of the Vollmer family. This special edition matures in barrels that previously held a beer flavored with Arabica coffee beans, grown on the estate itself. On the nose, it reveals a warm intertwining of roasted coffee, cocoa, and ripe fruit. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with a long toasted finish. Ideal to enjoy neat at the end of a meal, paired with a dark chocolate cake.
Colour:

Intense hints of coffee and cocoa, almond, and then notes of mango and peach

Of great roundness, warm and subtly sweet
