Tequila 'Cupreata' Curado
Tequila "Cupreata" from the Mexican Curado distillery is a unique label that is perfect for mixing or for enjoying straight after dinner. Blue agave piñas harvested in the highlands of the province of Jalisco are used to make it. After studying the Brix degree of each agave, the master distillers begin the infusion. The soft golden yellow colour introduces scents of fresh flowers and sweet spices while the palate is surprised by a fresh, full and satisfying sip.
The Tequila “Cupreata” by Curado is produced in a winery managed with passion and experience by three families who share daily tasks to produce Tequila of rare quality. The secret of the Estes, Camarena, and Vantaguard lies in the curados, the name given to the Pulques that are then infused with natural aromas and macerated with various spirits along with herbs, spices, and fruits. This Tequila also has the uniqueness of being the first to be produced from the infusion of cooked Agave, a practice that gives the distillate a complexity of rare and unique aromas and flavors.
The lush Agave plants selected for the Tequila “Cupreata” by Curado are harvested and then cooked within a range of 3 to 6 hours to keep their intrinsic properties intact. Subsequently, for about 5 days, they are infused in steel tanks with preparations of Agave Cupreata without any added sugars and without subsequent aging in wood. Note the particular and picturesque labels representing different Alebrije, fantastic animals capable of transporting the mortals from the world of the living to that of the dead: they become, thus, guides to unexpected places, just as unexpected are the flavors and aromas that can be found in this Tequila.
The Tequila “Cupreata” by Curado appears in the glass as a pale golden yellow. On the nose, there are aromas of white pepper due to the Cupreata, spices, and fresh sensations; the taste is intense, full, and enveloping with spices on the finish that is very persistent and inviting. A product rich in quality and awareness, with an extreme calibration of flavor blending, to be enjoyed either neat at the end of a meal or in mixology for unexpected and tasty cocktails. A Tequila that intrigues and seduces connoisseurs, lending itself to being shared on carefree evenings with old friends.
