“El Corazon” Tequila Reposado is the most mature product of the Mexican distillery Sangre de Vida. It originates in Jalisco, always known for the production of great spirits. This region, located in the western part of Mexico, is fundamentally made up of a vast plateau with an altitude exceeding 1500 meters above sea level. The climate, dry and hot, is characterized by strong temperature fluctuations. The soils are predominantly composed of ancient volcanic sands and constitute an ideal habitat for the cultivation of agave Blu Weber, particularly prized and suitable for producing an excellent quality Tequila. The adult plants are cut to obtain the piña, the heart of the agave, which is cooked, according to ancient customs, in classic brick ovens. The agave is then sent for fermentation and distillation. Before bottling, the Tequila matures for three months in oak barrels.
