The White Vermouth by Casa Mariol is produced by a Catalan, family-run winery. It is a wine flavored with typical Mediterranean herbs, made from grapes lapped by the strong winds that blow over the area's limestone soils. Intense, fresh and sweet, the vegetal fragrances of thyme, rosemary, as well as sweet hints of citrus and spices are noticeable. Perfect for aperitifs, thanks in part to the elegant designer bottle

Casa Mariol Vermouth Bianco is characterized as a vermouth with a strong yet smooth character that encapsulates the know-how of the Vaquer family, who have been engaged in wine production in Terra Alta for nearly 100 years. Founded in 1945 in Batea, in the heart of Terra Alta, the family-run estate Casa Mariol is dedicated to the production of still wines, Cava, and vermouth, embracing a philosophy that respects nature, based on organic farming. Furthermore, to ensure exceptional quality standards, the winery utilizes an analysis and control laboratory that allows for the verification of the quality of each product that leaves the bodega.

The Vermouth Bianco from the Casa Mariol production is made from a white wine obtained from the processing of Macabeu grapes grown by the estate in the younger vineyards. The wine is flavored through a skillful maceration process that follows the Vaquer family recipe, using over 150 botanicals gathered from the Terra Alta area. Once the flavoring process is completed and after a short resting period,on the fine lees, the vermouth is finally bottled in a characteristic one-liter format.

To the eye, the Casa Mariol Vermouth Bianco displays a straw-yellow color with golden hues. The aromatic profile expresses hints of lemon zest, rosemary, thyme, anise, and fennel, with a touch of vanilla. The tasting is very intense, in surprising balance between the sweet component and the lively freshness, with a pleasant and persistent taste closure. The producer's advice is to enjoy this fresh Vermouth Bianco as an aperitif, paired with various snacks or combined with tonic water for a burst of freshness.
