The Single Malt Whisky ‘Amber Meadow’ by Macallan is the third release of the Harmony Collection, born from the collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney. For this edition, the inspiration is the countryside at home, Scotland, and its meadows and barley fields. It matures in sherry-seasoned oak casks and ex-bourbon casks. On the nose, it is rich and indulgent, with notes of chestnut honey and vanilla, hints of red fruits and dried apricot, and an herbaceous background. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, medium-bodied, with a spicy warmth and a slight astringency, finishing long, ideal for contemplation with a blue cheese like Roquefort.
