The 18 Years of Macallan is a Single Malt Whisky from Speyside with great harmony and elegance, aged for 18 years in two different woods. Rich and intense on the nose, with notes of coffee, ginger, caramel, wood, and sweet spices, it has a warm, balanced body with infinite persistence.

The Macallan Double Cask Single Malt Whisky, aged 18 Years, is a high-end label and represents one of the expressive peaks of the famous Speyside distillery. It is a bottle that synthesizes the classic stylistic signature of the brand, always focused on harmony and soft fruity smoothness with rich tertiary notes due to a very long aging period in oak, which gives the sip a unique depth and complexity. A great whisky for connoisseurs, to be enjoyed on a special occasion.

The Double Cask Single Malt is an 18-Year-Old Whisky that originates in the heart of the wild Speyside region. The Macallan Distillery is a true institution of Scottish tradition. Since the early decades of the 1800s, it has produced great whiskies, which are still among the most famous in the world today. The quality has remained intact over time thanks to great respect for traditions. The production is always based on a selection of excellent barley, which is malted without using peat, in order to favor the sweet and fruity smoothness. The distillation takes place using small copper stills, that ensure excellent finesse. The final touch is given by the very long aging. The Single Malt is matured in two different types of wood: French oak barrels and American oak barrels, previously used for sweet wines from Jerez.

The 18-Year-Old Double Cask Whisky from the Macallan Distillery is a Single Malt capable of captivating the most refined palates. It is the ideal choice for those who love the depth of rich tertiary evolutions, without the peaty and smoky notes typical of spirits from the Hebrides islands. It presents itself with a bright dark amber color with brilliant mahogany and copper reflections. On the nose, it impresses with the intensity and extraordinary complexity of the aromatic facet. The aromas offer sweet notes of caramel and chestnut honey, vanilla, soft oriental spices, hints of nuts and dried fruit, citrus zest, candied fruit, ginger, toasted hints, and roasting nuances. Warm and enveloping, it offers a long and satisfying sip, sweet and complex, with infinite taste length.
