The Macallan Single Malt ‘Honey Orchid Tea’ is the fifth release of the Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with JING Tea and inspired by a fine oolong tea. It primarily matures in ex-sherry American oak barrels, with European oak and ex-bourbon completing the picture. On the nose, it is fragrant and fruity, with notes of peach and apricot, hints of flower honey and oolong tea, and a touch of toffee. On the palate, it is soft and layered, with a velvety and creamy texture, a slight tannic grip, and a long, sweet, harmonious finish.
